100 Questions

My new thing is responding to tumblr questionnaires so deal with it.

1.   Are you young at heart, or an old soul?
Definitely an old soul. But sometimes I can be youthful.
2.   What makes someone a best friend?
You trust them with everything and they will never abandon you. You can also have fun together. Not everything needs to be heavy all the time.
3.   What Christmas (or Hanukkah) present do you remember the most?
Hm... Last Christmas my dad gave me a St. Lucia mug and it is something so small but it meant a lot to me because it was all I wanted.
4.   Tell me about a movie/song/tv show/play/book that has changed your life.
The TV show Doctor Who, because of the companions. Rose Tyler taught me about being in love. Martha taught me when to realize enough is enough. Donna showed me about finding strength to do the things we must do, even when we’d rather not. Amy Pond taught me to never give up on childhood dreams and Rory taught me to never give up on the people we love. It’s so so cheesy. It’s actually gross how cheesy this is. But it’s true!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE Doctor Who.
5.   Name one physical feature that you like about yourself, and one you dislike.
I like my eyes I guess and I don’t particularly enjoy my hands because they are crooked and look smashed.
6.   Would you like to reconnect with any friends you’ve lost contact with?
Yes. A thousand times yes.
7.   What’s more important in a relationship: physical attraction or emotional connection?
Emotional connection. Physical attraction is not for relationships; it’s for hook ups.
8.   Name a movie that you knew would be terrible just from reading the title.
Blair Witch Project
9.   What holiday do you most look forward to?
Christmas!
10.                 How is the relationship between you and your parents?
Fantastic.
11.                 You’ve got the TV on, but you’re not really watching. What channel is the TV on?
Probably a sports channel because I half-watch those a lot. Either that or news. I don’t really watch television too much.
12.                 Name a song that never fails to make you happy.
Letting Go by Sean Kingston and Nicki Minaj. The idea of being liberated from society gets me.
13.                 You know at least one person named Michael. Tell me about him.
I knew a Michael who I once wrote an essay about. He was a devout Christian and we talked about religion for hours. He made me understand what could compel an intelligent person to seek guidance from organized religion. I will always remember that conversation because I really respected him and was thrilled at the idea that two people with opposite views could discuss religion without being at each other’s throats. Unfortunately, our group of friends fell apart so we aren’t really in touch anymore and I doubt we ever will be.
14.                 Have you ever read the “missed connections” on Craigslist? Have you ever posted one, or wanted to?
No. But there is a version of it on Middfesh and I have never posted on it. If I want to post my secrets, I do it on this blog.
15.                 If you could pick anywhere to live the rest of your life, where would it be?
California.
16.                 Can money buy happiness?
No. But it can make finding happiness easier when you don’t need to worry about money.

I don’t smoke or do drugs. I like being healthy. Social drinking is OK, but not in excess.
18.                 Is there anyone close to you that you know you can’t trust? You don’t have to give names.
Yes. I don’t trust people who use your secrets against you. I know a girl or two who does that. I also don’t trust people who don’t notice when I’m upset. There are people close to me who never notice when I need them and I can’t really trust them.

19.                 Where was your favorite place to go when you were a little kid?
My grandparents house in Chicago and the Shedd Aquarium
