Deep Questions (This is good)

1. What is more difficult for you, looking into someones eyes when you are telling someone how you feel, or looking into someones eyes when they are telling you how they feel?
o Definitely looking into someones eyes when they are telling me how they feel. I can only fake confidence when I know for sure what’s going to happen, that is, I know what I am going to say. You can never really know what someone else is going to say to you. Plus no one has ever told me anything good they've felt about me.

2. Think of the last time you were REALLY angry. WHY were you angry? Do you still feel the same way?
o Two days ago when the fat couple yelled at me for my bike riding. I do not feel the same way because I am over it. They will die of heart disease and I will still be kicking when I'm 90.

3. You are on a flight from Honolulu to Chicago non-stop. There is a fire in the back of the plane. You have enough time to make ONE phone call. Who do you call? What do you tell them?
o I call my parents and tell them I love them and I dictate a small will and testament.

4. You are at the doctor’s office and he has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live. Do you tell anyone/everyone you are going to die? What do you do with your remaining days? Would you be afraid?
o I would probably be terrified, but tell no one. I would go apologize to everyone I’d hurt and I would go do all the things that I’d never get a chance to do like buy a motorcycle, get a tattoo, shave my head and go to Yosemite. It would be wild. I'd also pierce my belly button and write letters to all the people I love.

5. You can have one of the following two things. Which do you choose? Why? Love or trust?
o I’d pick love because it implies a kind of trust to love someone and be comfortable sharing that type of emotion with them. I am such a girl.

6. You are walking down the street on your way to work. There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street. Your boss has told you if you are late even once more, you are fired. Do you take the time to save the dogs life? Why or Why not?
o I don’t save the dogs life because I love my job and natural selection has clearly selected against this dog. However, I don’t stop to watch the dog drown because I wouldn’t want to be guilty.

7. Would you rather be hurt by the one you trust the most or the one you love the most?
o The one I trust the most. It absolutely sucks to be hurt by the person you love the most, and someone being trustworthy enough to keep your secrets is great, but if they hurt you, it’s easy to just get over it and find someone else to be your walking diary. When you love someone, it’s impossible to think of a world without that person, and life without them seems dull and empty.

8. Your best friend confesses that he/she has feelings for you more than just friendship. He/she is falling in love with you. What do you (or did you) do/say?
o Well if my best friend in this scenario is a guy, I’d probably give it a go because you already know they care about you  and hopefully if they're your best friend you care about them, so basically all you’ve got to do is test drive the machinery. If the sex is good or if they’re at least trying to make it good, why not. I'm not very good at the "fine line" between friendship and more-than. I'm kind of a "why the fuck not" type of person. It's interesting to be in my head.

9. Think of the last person who you know that died. You have the chance to give them 1 hour of life back, but you have to give up one year of yours. Do you do it? Why or Why not?
o Yes. Because maybe if he’d had one more hour he wouldn’t have done it.

10. Are you the kind of friend that you would want to have as a friend?
o No because I’m high maintenance and unreliable and occasionally selfish. I'm really good at long distance friendships though, and I can be a lot of fun. So I'd be one of those acquaintances you party with and IM over the sumer.

11. Does love = sex?
o It depends on what type of love. But I think if you are with someone and you “love” them, you should probably want to bone them, or have them bone you. If you don't, maybe you don't love them that much. Sex doesn't equal love though, it's a one way equation.

12.Your boss tells your coworker that they have to let them go because of work shortage, and they are the newest employee. You have been there much longer. Your coworker has a family to support and no other means of income. Do you go to your boss and offer to leave the company? Why or Why not?
o No, because I’m just not that nice of a person. I want money.

13.When was the last time you told someone HONESTLY how you felt regardless of how difficult it was for you to say? Who was it? What did you have to tell the person?
o I told someone that I had a crush on them. It was unreciprocated, but I felt great after because I realized that I’m kind of a badass. I take risks and I do it over and over again, even if it doesn’t work out because I am incredibly strong and I can put up with way more shit than I give my self credit for. I’m a survivor and I'm really good at forcing myself to follow my impulses.

14. What would be (or what was) harder for you to tell a member of the opposite sex, you love them or that you do not love them back?
o Probably that I don’t love them back. I tell people that I love them all the time; it would be harder for me to admit to someone that I didn’t love them back because I would feel guilty. It’s so easy for me to love people, that I would feel like a douche for not loving back that one person.

15. What do you think would be the hardest thing for you to give up? Why would it be hard to lose?
o Technology because I’m addicted to the internet. That or coffee.

16. Excluding romantic love, when was the last time you told someone you loved them. Who were they to you?
o It was Diana on the phone after she graduated. She is one of my best friends from Groton and I love her to bits.

17. If there was one moment and one time in the last month what would you change and why?
o Yes. I would go do exam week over again and care about myself more. That is such a nerd thing to say but I'm saying it anyways.

18.Imagine it is a dark night, you are alone, it is raining outside, you hear someone walking around outside your window. WHO do you wish was there with you?
o My sister because she is way smarter than I am in these situations and we could shriek together.

19. Would you give a homeless person CPR if they were dying? Why or Why not?
o Yeah sure. I’d get tested for a bunch of shit afterwards though. I know how to give CPR and people are different from animals, no matter what their living conditions are. I believe in saving people.

21.You are holding onto your grandmother’s hand and the hand of a newborn that you do not know as they hang over the edge of a cliff. You have to let one go to save the other. Who do you let fall to their death? What was your rationale for making the decision?
o The baby because I love my grandmother more than a random kid. Sorry baby girl (or boy) but blood is thicker than water.

22. Are you old fashioned?
o About some things, but I try to change that. It's not good to be stuck with old ways of thinking.

23. When was the last time you were nice to someone and did NOT expect anything in return for it?
o I never expect anything in return for kindness. Really.

24.Which would you choose, true love with a guarantee of a broken heart, or never loved at all? Why?
o Never loved at all because I’m cynical and depressing. Also I know what it's like to feel like I am not in love with someone. And that feeling or lack thereof is better than feeling a broken heart. Plus you can have really good emotionless sex to make up for your lack of "love".

25.If you could do anything or wish anything, what would it be?
o I would wish for a million dollars so I could afford my overpriced education.
